financial assistance

Thanks to generous donors, finances don’t need to be a barrier for any child who wants to attend Knox Camps.

Parents & guardians who require financial assistance need to complete a Subsidy Request Form, available by emailing camp@knoxtoronto.org — this confidential form will give Knox staff the information required to confirm your eligibility.

Once the form is submitted, the parent/guardian will be contacted by the Camp and Children’s Ministry Coordinator with the amount of support that can be granted for your camper(s).

Garrett Lewis Camper Bursary Fund

Our Knox Camper Bursary Program has been re-named the Garrett Lewis Camper Bursary Fund. Learn more about our friend Garrett, his love for and service at Knox Camps, and how his servant-hearted nature is an example to each of us who serve at & enjoy camp.

Who was Garrett?

Garrett Lewis was a young man who loved camp, and who was loved by camp.  He started coming to Knox Overnight Camp with his family (his father, James; his mother, Kathy; and his younger brother, Wes) in 2004 and he got hooked immediately.  From camper to Leader-In-Training to cabin leader, Garrett soaked in the experience of learning about God, communing with God through worship and nature and the community of believers, and pouring that all out to campers.

The Lord brought him home to be with him in 2015 and we know, without a shadow of a doubt, that he is now more truly alive than he ever was.

The Garrett Lewis Fund gives the gift of camp so kids of all ages can experience and catch the vision of what a community formed by God looks like as Garrett did.  This fund helps campers experience the best week of the year.
