Camp Director
The Knox Camps Director oversees all aspects of Knox Camps. They should be familiar with what it takes to run a Christian camp and have proven experience working with children. This role requires someone who is highly competent with administrative tasks as well as providing leadership, oversight, and guidance to a team of camp staff. The Camp Director leads the planning process for programming, sets the spiritual tone, and creates a safe environment by enforcing camp rules and regulations.
Camp Coordinator
As part of the Knox Camp Lead Team, Camp Coordinators are leaders who plan and oversee all aspects of the programs at Knox Camps. During the camp weeks, they work together with the Camp Staff Team to run the programming each week. Coordinators are creative, organized, adaptable and accountable. In partnership with a Camp Leader, they lead squads of up to 12 campers.

Knox Camp Leader
Camp Leaders are part of the ‘front line’ of Knox Camp — in charge of loving and caring for campers. They are enthusiastic, creative, and cultivate a camp environment that is formative, fun and memorable. In partnership with a Camp Coordinator, they lead squads of up to 12 campers.

Other ways to help make camp happen
Leader in training program
Our LIT program is a fantastic training opportunity for teens who are beyond the age of youth camp, and not yet 17. Generally, our LITs are entering grade 10 and 11.
Weekly volunteers
We're always looking for adults to join us during the week, either teaching a skill, helping individual campers, or assisting with activities.
A valid police check is required for all our staff and volunteers over 16. To apply to volunteer, email camp@knoxtoronto.org.
